Scott Ecenbarger, O.D.
Diplomate, American Board of Optometry
Dr. Scott Ecenbarger graduated from Hudsonville High School. He continued his education at Ferris State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and was a scholarship winner in Varsity Track and Field. Dr. Scott graduated with highest honors from The Michigan College of Optometry in 1999. In addition to being a contact lens specialist, Dr. Scott practices comprehensive family eye care with special interests in sports vision and the emerging field of myopia management also known as myopia control. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, a member of the Michigan Optometric Association, and Past President of the West Michigan Optometric Association. Dr. Scott is a sports nut and avid golfer.
Staci Ecenbarger, O.D.
Diplomate, American Board of Optometry
Dr. Staci Ecenbarger pursued her undergraduate education at Grand Valley State University, then graduated with highest honors from The Michigan College of Optometry in 1999 (yes, thatβs where they met). In addition to being a contact lens specialist, Dr. Staci practices comprehensive medical eye care with an emphasis in glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye, and disease detection. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, and the West Michigan Optometric Association. Dr. Staci is an avid reader and enjoys playing golf.

Jeanette Le Blanc, ABOC
Our practice manager and certified optician, Jeanette, has made the wheels turn at Ecenbarger Eye Care since 2011. She has worked in the optical industry within private practices since 2000 and has held nearly every position the optical field has to offer on her way up the ladder. This gives her tremendous perspective on how to get things done correctly and it is a rare question indeed if she doesn’t have the answer. When not in the office, Jeanette is busy creating unique wood and epoxy-resin pieces. Check out our sweet hand-crafted coffee table!
Jeremy McDonald, ABOC
Our optical manager and certified optician, Jeremy, ensures that your shopping experience is enjoyable, and your eyewear expertly crafted. His career began in 1999 and his background includes retail and lab experience. Jeremy has handled the bulk of our optical services since 2013 and our patients have come to count on his expertise and keen fashion sense when selecting and servicing the perfect eyewear. Jeremy enjoys spending time with friends and family and is an admitted shopaholic.
Dan Gratz, ABOC
Our certified optician, Dan, has over 20 years of optical experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU. He has been active in many non-profit organizations over the years assisting with service and fund-raising events. He has even been known to don a Santa suit on occasion! Dan loves to read and enjoys anything involving history and farming.
Jessica Baker
Our optometric technician, Jessica, will be the friendly face that prepares you to see the doctor. She holds a Medical Assistant degree and has previously worked as a technician for larger, fast-paced ophthalmology practices but is looking forward to being able to build relationships with our patients. She strives to gather clear and concise medical histories, collect accurate pre-testing data, and coordinates our referrals and prescriptions. Jessica likes to spend time at home with her husband, daughter, and dog or visiting friends and family in Ludington during the summer.
Cassidy Storey
Our optometric technician, Cassidy, has been working in optical practices since 2019. She has a back ground in technician duties as well as lab work. She likes to have fun while pre-testing patients and usually keeps everyone in the office on their toes. In her spare time she likes to travel and cook. Her specialty is pasta dishes but the staff prefer her cake pops.
Jill McVeigh, CPOA
Jill, our optometric technician, graduated from MCC in 2016 with a focus on photography. She began her optometry career in 2018 and brings experience from multiple offices. In 2023, she obtained her COPA through the American Optometric Association.
Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her significant other, pets, or grandmother. Her favorite things are dogs, coffee, and naps. She is a great addition to our practice and will ensure your exam runs smoothly.
Hannah Jarvis
Hannah, our newest optician, is just beginning her optometry career with us. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State. Hannah has previous experience in dental, customer service, and lab sciences. Outside of the office, she enjoys performing musicals within the Grand Rapids theatre community.
